Cancellation Policy
How to cancel or reschedule a DMM Auto Check appointment, including statutory rights for qualifying online service contracts.
Version: 2.1 · Last updated:
1. Contractual notice
Please cancel or reschedule as soon as possible and, where possible, at least 24 hours before the appointment. This request helps us manage mobile travel and availability. It does not reduce any statutory right to cancel.
2. How to cancel or reschedule
Contact us using the secure Manage Booking link, giving your name, booking date, vehicle and a clear request. We will confirm receipt. A rescheduled appointment is subject to availability and a revised travel price where the location changes.
3. Fourteen-day statutory cancellation period
For a qualifying consumer service contract made online or otherwise at a distance, you normally have 14 days after the day the contract is entered into to cancel without giving a reason. Different rules or exceptions may apply in particular circumstances, including certain urgent repairs expressly requested by the consumer. We will not use this policy to remove a right given by law.
4. Service requested within 14 days
If you want the service to begin before the statutory cancellation period ends, we ask for your express request using a separate, unchecked control. This is not a blanket waiver. If you cancel after performance has begun following that request, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for the service supplied up to cancellation. You lose the statutory cancellation right only after the service has been fully performed following your express request and acknowledgment of that consequence, where the law provides for it.
